Vietnam Foreign Investment Outlook in 2023: Navigating Headwinds Ahead
Vietnam enjoyed a solid economic expansion in 2022, with 8% GDP growth, thanks to strong domestic consumption, robust exports, and improved private investments (including FDI disbursements) following the removal of COVID-19 restrictions.
However, some key growth drivers such as exports and domestic consumption started to show signs of deceleration in Q4 and it is expected to continue in 2023 due to weakened global demands, rising inflation, and tighter domestic financial conditions.
